"Connections" is a project born from my desire to show human connections through distance.
2020 brought people to have family and friends far away from them. At this moment when the world had to slow down because of the Coronavirus, more than ever we missed human contact. From this idea, I asked different dancers from around the world to imagine reaching someone else on the other side of their screen, through a Skype photo shoot. Connecting, feeling each other's energy, and touching the other person while going outside the screen.
This is the third interpretation of the concept that I realized with Amina Pululu, based in Cape Town, and Filippo di Vilio, at the moment of the shooting in Florance.
